Showcasing Our Research at SRA Europe/ESREL in Norway

We were excited to represent our Climate Adaptation group at the combined Society for Risk Analysis Europe and European Safety and Reliability conference in Stavanger, Norway, from 15-19 June 2025. We were there with Tom, Darcy, Nohah, and Logan, who all gave presentations on the exciting work we are doing in risk analysis.
It was an excellent week of presentations on where the risk field is heading, along with discussions on climate adaptation, risk communication, and challenges we’re facing, all set against the backdrop of long Norwegian summer days. We ran into our colleagues, Kendrick and Ruby while there as well, and all enjoyed meeting many new people and seeing familiar faces like Robyn Wilson.
With this being a combined conference, our presentations were well attended with all the additional people and sparked lots of good conversation. We made sure our New Zealand-based research was noticed throughout the week!
