Biography
Matt’s research is centered around urban resilience; he is passionate about improving urban landscapes by informing evidence-based policy that considers impacts on both people and the environment. This involves the use of analytical tools such as Python and GIS to improve decision-making.
Matt started within the team through a summer research project during his undergraduate studies. This project primarily involved data collection and analysis for a large-scale access dataset. He continued his work with the team through his final year of undergraduate studies, where he lead a project on housing density legislation in Christchurch.
